Master Program in Islamic Economics
The Master of Islamic Economics study program of the Sekolah Tinggi Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam Lampung was officially established on July 8, 2024 based on the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 726 of 2024 and has a vision of “Becoming a superior master of Islamic economics study program based on research and development in the field of Islamic economics and business with an L.A.D.A. character at the international level in 2036.” Currently, the Lampung Islamic School of Economics and Business holds a “Very Good” accreditation status based on the Decree of the Executive Board of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) Number 2492/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/PT/VIII/2025 dated July 29, 2025. Meanwhile, the Islamic Economics Study Program (PS-MES) holds a “Good” accreditation status by LAMEMBA Number 639/DE/A.5/AR.11/IV/2025 on April 14, 2025.
The Islamic Economics Master’s Program offers academics, practitioners, and professionals the opportunity to explore Islamic Economics from a broader and more in-depth perspective. With a curriculum based on research and industry practice, we equip students with a solid understanding of the principles of Islamic economics, Islamic finance, and Sharia-based economic policies oriented towards sustainability and the welfare of the community.
Center for the Development of Islamic Studies
We pride ourselves on being a center for the development of Islamic studies, focusing on the integration of economics and business with Islamic values. Our curriculum is designed to produce graduates who excel not only in the theory and practice of Islamic economics but also possess a strong Islamic perspective to address global challenges.
