The Double Degree Master’s Program in Islamic Economics is an international collaborative program between the Lampung Islamic Economics and Business College or Sekolah Tinggi Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam Lampung (STEBI) and Universiti Geomatika Malaysia. This program is designed to provide cross-border academic experience and strengthen students’ global competencies in Islamic economics and finance.

Through this scheme, students will participate in an integrated learning process organized academically and administratively by both institutions. The curriculum is harmoniously structured to ensure equitable learning outcomes, cross-institutional credit recognition, and compliance with higher education standards in Indonesia and Malaysia.

This program provides students with the opportunity to:

• Obtain two academic degrees (dual degrees) officially recognized by both universities.
• Develop a global perspective in Islamic economics and Islamic business management.
• Attend lectures with international lecturers and industry practitioners.
• Access regional and international academic and professional networks.
• Participate in academic activities such as international seminars, collaborative research, and cross-border community service.

The learning structure integrates a research-based approach, global case studies, and the strengthening of analytical and strategic competencies in contemporary Islamic economic development. Students also gain intercultural academic experiences that broaden their horizons and enhance their competitiveness in the global job market.
